The Re-Introduction of Kayce // 09.22.08 Update

Wooooo, I've had the craziest summer of my life (personally), and now that I've had a bit of time to wind down and collect myself, all I'll say about everything else is that it's a VERY exciting time for the world of Kayce Models.. From the triumphant introduction of a series of brand new websites to the debut of a dozen new Kayce Models across the country, we have a whole slew of new projects designed to showcase the talent in our organization as well as to give you, our incredibly supportive and highly appreciated audience, more of exactly what you want. You wanted more events? Check. You wanted more of your favourite girls? We got you covered. Most of all, you simply wanted to get to get closer to the action - you wanted to become better acquainted with our girls, and we DEFINITELY have that taken care of.

Over the past two years, you've spoken loud and clear through your support; just as we've grown as an organization, our collective voice has grown louder. Now, it's time to be heard - and as the founder of everything Kayce, I am cordially inviting each and every one of you to become a part of the Kayce movement. Check back at our sites regularly over the next little while, and when (not if) you see something you like? Tell someone you know about it - the takeover has officially begun.

Today we set it off, right here on this blog, with the first of a series of feature interviews with Kayce Model Nancy Jun from Vancouver. She's been with our company since our inaugural Vancouver model roster was announced, and she's blossomed into one of our most promising Beauty & Fashion Portrait models. Without further adieu, check out Ten Questions with Kayce Model Nancy Jun (Vancouver).

Ten Questions with Kayce Model Nancy Jun (Vancouver) // 09.22.08 Interview

One of the inaugural Vancouver Kayce Models, Nancy Jun has become one of the most popular faces on the Kayce roster both at featured events as well as online.
KayceOnline.com recently caught up with Nancy to chat about her life..

KayceOnline: Hey Nancy! First off, you look amazing in your most recent photoshoot - tell us how are you keeping yourself busy now that your summer is over.
Nancy Jun: Aww, thank you! Well, I'm currently working full-time, as well as going to school. Very boring.

KayceOnline: Sorry to hear that - where do you work? What do you do?
Nancy Jun: I'm a credit specialist at CIBC, and I help customers with Visa-related issues over the phone.

KayceOnline: That sounds like a pretty boring but laid-back job. Well, if the people who called you could know anything about you at all, what would you want them to know? What do you want the world to know about you?
Nancy Jun: That I'm a sucker for knowledge, and I have way too many questions about just about everything in the world.

KayceOnline: Nice, you're an intellectual as well as a pretty face. When and how did you first get started with modeling?
Nancy Jun: When I was 16, I went to a Faces West modeling convention, and everything kinda just started.

KayceOnline: So what do you think is your best feature? Why?
Nancy Jun: Definitely my eyes, because I know how to use them ;)

KayceOnline: I can see that, haha. Tell us about your proudest accomplishment to date..
Nancy Jun: (Laughs.) Getting my own place and generally being independent.

KayceOnline: Being independent is always good. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Nancy Jun: In an nice office, looking sexy in a suit while I'm talking to clients.

KayceOnline: Uhh, so what kind of services are you going to be offering? And how could we be your lucky clients?
Nancy Jun: Haha, keep your mind out of the gutter! I'm hoping to be a lawyer with my own practice.. So, anyone with a thriving business could be a client of mine I guess ;)

KayceOnline: I'm guessing by "thriving business" you actually mean "a lot of money" hahaha. How would the average guy be able to get your attention then?
Nancy Jun: Nooo! Not at all. The average joe could get my attention by striking up an interesting conversation.

KayceOnline: Is it really that simple? What turns you on the most about a guy?
Nancy Jun: Mhmm! His attitude.

KayceOnline: What specifically about a guy's attitude? Can you elaborate for any hopeful suitors that may be out there reading this?
Nancy Jun: Haha. Attitude says it all - it's about your outlook on life, on yourself and on the people you surround yourself with. All of that is important in terms of how others will view you.

KayceOnline: Well put! Thank you for your time Nancy - all the best to you in your continued success, is there anything else you'd like to add before we wrap this up?
Nancy Jun: *Muahz* Thanks to everyone for their support - I love hearing from you and I'm looking forward to meeting each of you in person at future events!

Shy girl, so humble - with eyes that make me stumble // 09.02.08 Update

there's not too much to be said with this post - as is the case with most decisions i make, i've chosen the song of the day rather arbitrarily.. this song doesn't have much to do with how i feel at the moment, nor can i really explain why i simply feel like listening to it over and over again right now..

in terms of me, lots of changes are in place, and it feels like i'm about to embark on the journey of my life - again, only this time i'll be a little bit more ready for it =) hope to see everybody this weekend @ Importfest..

5:14am, a day in the life..

"Why would you? How could I?
These questions lead to goodbye
But now I got my freedom, don't I?"
- Maroon 5, “Losing My Mind

if you must know, refer to the 1st paragraph for a bit about why i chose this song.. that being said, i know i love Maroon 5 songs in general, and maybe this is jus another display of the depth in terms of not only the music itself, but also the connection that i have with this particular band..

It's so hard to find you
I'm standing right behind you
The streets are much colder
This mean I'm getting older

Why would you? How could I?
These questions lead to goodbye
But now I got my freedom
Don't I?

I parked my car outside your house
Hope that someday you'll come home
Seems the woman that I love
Is someone that I hardly know
And after all this time
I finally found a way to be alone
I'm terrified to think that I may be losing my mind

Shy girl, so humble
With eyes that make me stumble
Somehow not speaking lets me know everything
I go out, You eat in
Hot from the situation
You're naked in daylight
Wrap yourself up and goodnight

I'm burning, I'm hungry
Angry cuz she don't love me
You got me completely
In my own game you beat me

I parked my car outside your house
Hope that someday you'll come home
Seems the woman that I love
Is someone that I hardly know
And after all this time
I finally found a way to be alone
I'm terrified I think that I may be losing my mind

I will be back again
No this is not the end
I've fallen hard this time but I not giving in
I want the world to know that I won't let you forget
The tears that you shed
I'll make it impossible to let go

I parked my car outside your house
Hope that someday you'll come home
Seems the woman that I love
Is someone that I hardly know
And after all this time
I finally found a way to be alone
I'm terrified to think that I may be losing my mind

I parked my car outside your house
Hope that someday you'll come home
Seems the woman that I love
Is someone that I hardly know
And after all this time
I finally found a place to be alone
I'm terrified to think that I may be losing my mind
