by now, most of you should be sick of Jay Sean's single ("Down") being (over-)played ad-nauseum everywhere you are.. on "Written on Her" the r&b/rap game's newest face returns on a (less-Vanilla, less-Chris-Brown-sounding) song with Lil Wayne's partner-in-crime, Birdman himself.. this offering is tad more rugged, adding a little more substance/presence, while retaining the same upbeat club format.. (i generally like Jay Sean's contributions on both songs, don't get me wrong - the vocals on "Down" are jus got a tad too whiny/annoying after a couple dozen plays, for my liking at least). over time, i'm definitely curious to see if Jay Sean can hold his weight & diversify his craft as a singer when teamed up with the right production team.
